The latest Atlanta Falcons injury report has landed, and it's got nine names on it. Nine! Nein.
Fortunately, only one guy is definitely out Sunday, and that's Michael Palmer. Without the veteran tight end, the Falcons will have to roll with Tommy Gallarda. No word on whether they're planning on calling Chase Coffman up to the active roster or not.
The remaining eight, in no particular order:
- Jon Babineaux, Limited Practice
- Tyson Clabo, LP
- Julio Jones, LP
- Stephen Nicholas, LP
- Mike Peterson, LP
- Chris Owens, DNP
- Lousaka Polite, DNP
- Antone Smith, DNP
I expect that Smith and Owens will likely miss this upcoming game, because hamstrings tend to linger and Owens is still recovering from a concussion. I both expect and hope the rest will suit up, because otherwise the Falcons are going to have to roll with Jason Snelling at fullback.
