NFL Wild Card playoff game picks from The Falcoholic

Wild Card weekend of the 2023 NFL playoffs is here, and The Falcoholic staff will once again be bringing you our weekly picks. The first week of the playoffs features some tough matchups in both the AFC and NFC.

The first week of the 2023 NFL playoffs is here, as Wild Card weekend as arrived! With the regular season in the rear-view mirror and byes for the top seeds in each conference—the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC and the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC—we’ve got a very intriguing slate of games in the first week of postseason action.

Things kick off with two Saturday games: the Cleveland Browns taking on the Houston Texans at 4:30 PM ET, followed by the Miami Dolphins against the Kansas City Chiefs at 8 PM ET.

Then we’ve got three Sunday games:

Pittsburgh Steelers at Buffalo Bills (1 PM ET)
Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys (4:30 PM ET)
Los Angeles Rams at Detroit Lions (8:15 PM ET)

Finally, we’ve got a Monday night showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers to finish out Wild Card weekend.

Before we get to the picks, let’s check in on our final staff standings for the 2023 regular season.

Jeanna Kelley took first place at 65%, followed by Aaron Freeman in second at 64%. Kevin Knight finished third at 63%, with Dave Choate (60%) and Will McFadden (58%) rounding things out.
