WHAT TO DO ON DAY TWO of the DRAFT?

After day one in the draft when the Falcons picked the BPA (their opinion) to help the overall team (RB Bijan Robinson), it alters the strategy moving forward… improving the team as it is currently constructed. Robinson actually improves the WR position group, so here we go…

· They DO NOT have a starting 34MIKE on the roster, so who fills that role? My opinion… There are only 3 starting MIKE LBs In this class and Jack Campbell is off the Board in round one (early). They need Drew Sanders or Noah Sewell on day two or we have a major issue that will cost MONEY in F/A.

· Next need… They need to ensure that LG is improved, especially since they invested in the RB group and are committed to a rushing offense. This is a major area of risk. I like Torrence, Michael-Schmitz, Avila, or Chandler Zavala. Zavala in the 3rd may be a steal.

· Next need… They have Okudah and Hughes in the fold but they aren’t assured, so another versatile CB is important. This is a major area of risk. BPA versatile CB is the target.

· Next need… It might be prudent to enhance the competition at 34NT, since only Goldman (emotional return?) and Horne are existent competition. Should we upgrade that position? Mazi Smith is OTB, so . Benton, Roy, Coburn, and Cooper are the few remining options.

· Upgrading EDGE depth (either OLB or DE is helpful) BUT I think DE/DT5/EDGE (big pass rushers ) is the way to go. White, Foskey, Tuilupotu, Morris, Diaby, DJ Johnson, and Fehoko are the remaining options.

· Backup safety is a critical need since Bates and Grant are the lone survivors. I suggest a SS with deep safety skills would be a likely target. Anthony Johnson, Jordan Battle, Sydney Brown, Brandon Joseph, JL Skinner, Jammie Robinson, Rashan Torrence, and Brandon Hill are some options..

· QB3 is a need since Woodside and Franks are no longer the answer. Stetson Bennett and Clayton Tune make the most sense.

· Depth at WR is always a need to compete with those on the backend of the roster. This is a long list.
