The Atlanta Falcons spent a couple of weeks in a bad place of their own making, thanks to frankly unjustifiable losses to the Buccaneers and Panthers. The hole they dug by doing so might be one that they can’t get out of, but they did bust out one hell of an effort against the Colts en route to a 29-10 victory.
Now 7-8, the Falcons will try to keep their mini-revival going by beating the Chicago Bears on the road. The Bears have won four of their past six and three of their last four games, moving all the way to 6-9 after starting the season 1-5. They have one of the league’s most dangerous scrambling quarterbacks in Justin Fields, a familiar top receiver in D.J. Moore, and a very tough defense improved further by the addition of Montez Sweat. Given that this is a road game and the Bears are an improving team, this is going to be a tricky matchup.
We’ll round up all our coverage for the week right here in this StoryStream, so keep it open.
