CFB Standouts for Week 2

Some of you are already looking at mock drafts. You know who you are. This is who I saw as the standouts for this week. Remember I'm only looking at players that can be drafted in 2023.

Kyle Vantrease , QB, Georgia Southern threw for 409 and a TD while beating Nebraska.

Deuce Vaughn, RB, Kansas St. ran for 145 yards and 2 TDs over Mizzou. Vaughn father is a scout for the Cowboys and plays like a mini Christian McCaffery.

Khalan Laborn, RB, Marshall, ran for 163 yards and 1 TD over Norte Dame. Laborn transferred from FSU for opportuinites.

Drew Sanders, LB, Arkansas, all over the place against SC. 11 tackles, 3 TFL, a sack. He's almost exclusively a pass rusher. He won't offer much in pursuit and his run defense is alright. But as a pass rusher? He's good played for Bama last year.

Max Williams, CB, USC, 7 tackles, 1 FF, 1 INT. Max was great against Stanford. Even tough the score is closer than it looks, USC dominated that game.

Tory Taylor P Iowa, I think he's averaging like 50.2 yards a punt. Right now, it feels like Iowa's only weapon.

De'Von Fox, WR (technially), Temple. He needs a position change because he's a defensive guy. Blocked 3 punts in this game.

CJ Stroud, QB, Ohio St. 351 and 4 TDS. I'm still iffy on considering a QB from Ohio St but, Stroud was in control today.

Lindsey Scott Jr QB, Incarnate Word threw for 406 yards with 4 TDs and was all over the field. There's not much defense being played and Scott is older but, it's pretty fun to watch.

Week 3 games to look out for.

Miami v Texas A&M

Oregon v BYU

USC v Fresno State
