Lions vs. Packers Monday Night Football open thread

The Packers were one of the few teams who had an effort as bad as the Falcons in the first week of the season, as they were utterly stomped into the dirt by the Saints, who turned around and got destroyed by the Panthers this week. That’s not a great sign for Green Bay’s 2021 fortunes, but it is just one game, and even the Falcons bounced back to put a semi-respectable effort up against the Buccaneers this week.

The Packers, who figure to be contenders in a shaky NFC North, need to get this thing back on track. They’ll try to do so tonight against a Lions team that’s trying to rebuild a bit with Jared Goff now under center, but hung tough in an opening loss to the 49ers. As is the case with most divisional games where the teams are not total garbage, this should be a fun matchup.
