AJ Terrell is entering his sophomore season as one of the ascending players on an admittedly uneven defense. While early in the season, opposing teams have not forced much against Terrell.

Case in point was the third quarter where Terrell made an absolutely stupendous tip on a ball to Mike Evans. Terrell took a massive leap to break up the ball, taking a lengthy fall to the ground.

While it did not look bad, Terrell stayed on the field for an extended period of time with trainers. He was quickly sent to the locker room with a trainer.

Pam Oliver reported on the broadcast that Terrell is being evaluated for a head injury. If he does indeed have a concussion, he would most obviously not return to the game. Falcons are surging back 28-17 against the Buccaneers and need all the help the team can get to stay in it against Tampa.

Update: Terrell was ruled out with a concussion. That puts his availability for next week in question as well.
