And just like that the preseason comes to a close. While all of us are ready to get to the regular season, the final game did have some weight for some key positional battles for the Falcons. The depth at wide receiver needs to be filled out. The battle on the offensive line rages on.

And oh yeah - who is going to be our backup quarterback.

Evan Birchfield and I discuss the game on our latest podcast. Topics include:

  • The lone play to tight end Kyle Pitts and why it may legitimately be a preview of things to come
  • The wide receiver depth and which players may be vying for one of the few open spots left
  • The interesting rotation at running back and what it may mean for Caleb Huntley going forward
  • Josh Rosen vs Feleipe Franks and who came out ahead in this game
  • The Falcons defensive secondary depth and why there’s actually a lot to like
  • So much more
