Uncle Artie sits down with The Falcoholic

Our Evan Birchfield recently had the privilege of sitting down with the owner of the Atlanta Falcons, Arthur Blank, and was able to pick his brain a bit on the upcoming NFL Draft and the culmination of the new regime. The second part of this illuminating interview will land on The Falcoholic Dot Com today!

There are many options on the table for Atlanta next week in the 2021 NFL Draft. Regardless of the outcome, this draft is poised to change the franchise, one way or another.

Safety and EDGE options in the 2021 NFL Draft

The Falcons certainly need safety help, so our Kevin Knight took a look at some of the options that can be had next week in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The team is also seemingly always in need of help on the edge of the defensive line, and while this draft is not flush with top-tier talent at the position, Kevin also eyed some of the available options who may fit the bill for the Falcons.

Remaining free agents

While the initial free agency rush is firmly behind us, there are still a bevy of players available that could help Atlanta — on the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

Our favorite Day 3 NFL Draft picks

So what players do the writers here at The Falcoholic like for Day 3 of the 2021 NFL Draft? Find out right here in this roundtable.

As #BonusContent we’ve also got Kevin’s penultimate 7-round mock draft which features a safety who was recently the focus of Eric Robinson’s latest scouting report.

The Falcoholic Podcast & The Falcoholic Live

‘Twas a busy week in Falcoholic Live and Falcoholic Podcastland as the run up to the 2021 NFL Draft continues.

On Wednesday night’s episode of The Falcoholic Live, the regular crew hosted The Athletic reporter Tori McElhaney and discussed the coming draft as well as the Falcons’ recent acquisitions of Cordarelle Patterson and Duron Harmon.

The fun continued over on The Falcoholic Podcast where the gang was joined by new ESPN Atlanta Falcons reporter Mike Rothstein.

Draft satisfaction

A polarizing selection for the Atlanta Falcons in the 2020 NFL Draft, A.J. Terrell enjoyed a productive rookie season and looks to be the corner the Falcons envisioned when they snagged him at No. 16 last year. Fans seem pleased with the selection, as well — along with the entire 2020 Atlanta Falcons draft class.
