Our ongoing podcast series reviewing the Thomas Dimitroff years for the Falcons continues today with his efforts in the 2019 season. His second to last year in Atlanta would feature some head scratching moves in free agency and a very top-heavy draft class.

To examine this season, I was joined by Allen Strk. We talked about the moves made by the GM and why this season was one of the most tumultuous for Dimitroff.

Topics include:

  • The surprise of taking offensive guard Chris Lindstrom in the first round and Kaleb McGary with him
  • The insane handling of legendary kicker Matt Bryant in the off season
  • The new contracts for Julio Jones and Grady Jarrett
  • The unfortunate cut of Ryan Schraeder
  • So much more
