Starting on the offensive side of the ball, there was one notable change. Calvin Ridley was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list last week, and has been removed from the depth chart. Sliding into Ridley’s spot on the depth chart is Tajae Sharpe. Sharpe recorded only one catch for 12 yards against the Saints on Sunday.

As mentioned above, a majority of the moves occurred on defense. Shortly before the depth chart was revealed, the Falcons announced that they’ve parted ways with linebacker Jacob Tuioti-Mariner who is no longer on the depth chart. James Vaughters performed well in limited snaps, and will step into Tuioti-Mariner’s spot. Additionally, defensive tackle Anthony Rush and corner Chris Williamson have been added to the depth chart.

One more notable update, the Falcons released punter Cameron Nizialek on Tuesday. Nizialek started the season as the starting punter before being placed on injured reserve in October. It appears veteran Dustin Colquitt has done enough to keep the starting job for now.
