Falcoholinks: All the Falcons news you need for Tuesday, Nov. 9

Everything you need to know from a great Victory Monday.

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
So much sadness behind his eyes.
Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

What a glorious Victory Monday. The very best Victory Mondays are after Super Bowl wins (I assume), and after wins over the Saints.

Oh buddy, and it was in New Orleans. Not much is sweeter than that. We round out the best from Victory Monday. Let’s kick it off with the recap.

The recap we all desperately need to read

The game was boring. Then phenomenal. Then terrible. Followed by the combo of Cordarrelle Patterson and Younghoe Koo. Relive it all with Dave Choate.

Not a fan of big words? Our pod has you covered

David Walker and Evan Birchfield team up in their post-game pod, talking the highs and lows of an epic win. So much great stuff on Matt Ryan, Cordarrelle Patterson, A.J. Terrell, James Vaughters, and more

A.J. Terrell is awesome

In Will McFadden’s 3 Up, 3 Down, he picks out Terrell as having the best game of his career. That is no easy feat considering Terrell has had a great sophomore season. This article is worth it just for Terrell’s stats.

We may believe but Vegas doesn’t

The Falcons were 6.5 point dogs against New Orleans and came away with the win. The Cowboys got dusted by the Denver Broncos. If you think that impacts the early odds, you would be wrong: Atlanta is an immense, 9.0 point underdog.

Ryan up for another award

Vote for Matt Ryan for the FedEx Air Player of the Week. Ice burned up a great defense and finished off the game with a fourth quarter comeback. He’s up against Justin Herbert and Carson Wentz. Ryan is also Adnan Ikic’s player of the game.

Falcons swap Anthony Rush for Deadrin Senat

Did you realize Senat was still on the team’s injured reserve? Neither did we. The big body is officially gone, and in his place comes Rush, an even bigger body. At 6-foot-5 and 350-pounds, Rush made an impact against the Saints. Now he’s signed off of the team’s practice squad and onto the active roster. He can work his way into a spot next to Grady Jarrett pretty quickly.
