We’re inching closer to an always exciting divisional matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints. On Wednesday we got a first look at where the injury status for both teams were, and as the week progresses we now have a slightly better outlook before we head into Friday’s final practice.
You can expect to see the injury reports here every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, except for when the Falcons play on Thursday night.

The Falcons injury report remains light on Thursday, as the only change is Russell Gage being upgraded from limited on Wednesday to a full participant on Thursday. Defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard remains in the league’s concussion protocol and his his status for Sunday remains a question mark. Calvin Ridley remains away from the team as he deals with a personal issue and there is no timetable for his return.
For the Saints, they had a lot of good news on Thursday. quarterback Taysom Hill and running back Dwayne Washington were both upgraded from limited to full participants over the last two days. It’s likely that Hill will be the starting quarterback for the Saints on Sunday. Also, safety Malcolm Jenkins was upgraded to a full participant, so he should play as well against the Falcons. Jameis Winston remains on the injury report because he has yet to be placed on injured reserve.
