Falcoholic Podcast: Atlanta’s loss to the Panthers resets expectations

We recap one of the ugliest games Atlanta has played all year.

I’ll be honest, guys: Sometimes these podcasts are hard to record. We’re fans of this team just like all of you. When they turn in a performance like what we saw against the Panthers, I’d rather crawl into a dark corner than talk about this game.

But we press on. Evan Birchfield and I jumped on to talk about the game, how it played out and why you can basically blame anyone you want (except Cordarelle Patterson) for this loss. Topics include:

  • The impact of not having Calvin Ridley and why we won’t tolerate any hatred towards him during his absence
  • Matt Ryan’s up and down day and the nature of his two interceptions
  • The regression from the offensive line and how it impacted the entire offense
  • The performance from the defense and why they really were not the biggest reason for the loss
  • The trajectory for this team and why it’s not time to pack things up just yet
  • So much more

As always, you can find the podcast wherever fine podcasts are available or you can listen below:
