We’re officially on to Week 5 as the Atlanta Falcons practiced for the first time this week on Wednesday. This week, the 1-3 Falcons are flying across the pond to technically host the 1-3 New York Jets what should be an interesting contest. With that, below is Wednesday’s injury report for both teams.

You can expect to see the injury reports here every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, except for when the Falcons play on Thursday night or have a bye week.

Before we get to the specific injury reports above, let’s acknowledge some recent injury-related moves that were made. Corner Isaiah Oliver is officially done for the season after sustaining a knee injury against the Washington Football Team on Sunday. Additionally, punter Cameron Nizialek has been placed on injured reserve, and the team has signed veteran Dustin Colquitt to the roster.

Now let’s get to the Falcons’ injury report for Wednesday. Three players were held out on Wednesday: Erik Harris, Russell Gage and Marlon Davidson. Harris was injured in Sunday’s game against Washington, while Gage and Davidson both missed the game, and continue to recover from their injuries. It would be nice to have some, if not all, of these players back on the field for Sunday.

The Jets certainly have more injuries than the Falcons currently. Seven of their players were held out of practice on Wednesday, while one was limited and one was a full participant. We’ll continue to monitor the injury report of both teams on Thursday.
