Falcons vs. Football Team: Inactives for Week 4

We’ve reached the 90-minute mark before Atlanta’s 1:00 p.m. kickoff against the Washington Football Team, which means that each team’s inactives have been revealed to us.

The Falcons have decided to switch it up a little bit with their healthy scratches this week, to go along with Marlon Davidson and Russell Gage who are out due to injury:

Jacob Tuioti-Mariner gets the short straw this week when it comes to the back end of the pass rush rotation. After John Cominsky spent the past couple of weeks as a healthy inactive, he will suit up and be on the active roster for the first time since he played minimal snaps in Week 1.

The Falcons will have three running backs on the active gameday roster for the first time this season, as Wayne Gallman looks poised to make his season debut after being on the inactive list the first three weeks. It will be interesting to see what his role will be behind Mike Davis and Cordarrelle Patterson.

Frank Darby will also make his debut after being a healthy scratch against Philadelphia, Tampa Bay and New York.

QB Feleipe Franks will once again suit up, for the second consecutive week after the coaching staff put him on the field with Matt Ryan at times in New York, in a bit of a gadget/TE role.

It was uncertain whether or not starting running back Antonio Gibson would play this week after a shin injury downgraded him to a non-participant in practice on Thursday, but he is healthy enough to suit up and play.

Benjamin St-Juste is the big name on this list for Washington — he’s third among their cornerbacks in snaps played this season and will force the Football Team in a “next man up” mentality beyond their starting CBs.
