In just a short while, the Falcons will kick off their fourth game of the season and only their second home game, welcoming the Washington Football Team. Atlanta’s got a chance to hit .500 for the first time in a long while, and to do so they’ll have to survive a tough challenge from a fearsome Washington defensive front and slow down an offense with plenty of capable playmakers.
As you may have guessed when you read our score predictions, we’re optimistic about the Falcons winning a close game. To do so, they’ll need to get as much as possible out of an offense that’s welcoming Frank Darby and Wayne Gallman to the gameday active list for the first time, as well as put the brakes on Taylor Heinicke and company with some help from A.J. Terrell, who returns from injury. Hopefully shortly after 4 p.m. today, we’re feeling great about this team’s second straight win.
Go Falcons! Please us this as your open thread, as is customary.
