Happy Halloweekend, Falcoholics. We’ve got the Panthers on deck for a divisional tilt on Sunday. Get your Friday started with Falcoholinks.
Predictions for Week 8 against the Panthers
Atlanta returns home to face off against divisional foe Carolina on Sunday. The Falcons are sitting at 3-3, with the Panthers currently at the bottom of the division at 3-4. Carolina won its first three games of the 2021 NFL but have since dropped four straight and are looking to climb back to an even record.
The Falcoholic team has Atlanta winning this game at home — but what do you think?
For the record, the fanbase also is the most confident its been since the 2019 season.
Kyle Pitts #content
Rookie tight end Kyle Pitts has tallied two consecutive games of over 100 yards receiving, and after his performance in Miami, it’s clear that he’s officially arrived.
There’s lofty expectations placed on this young man’s shoulders, and our Allen Strk recently wrote about Pitts’ meteoric ascension as an offensive weapon in Atlanta.
Injury report ahead of Sunday
Good news on the injury front, as both cornerbacks A.J. Terrell and Avery Williamson were full participants on Thursday.
On the other hand, the Panthers are pretty banged up, with linebacker Shaq Thompson and center Matt Paridis hoping to make it back from their respective injuries.
