If you have to watch a rival in primetime, you hope to watch them lose. That’s certainly true tonight, when the Saints play a Seahawks team down Russell Wilson, but obviously that outcome is somewhat in doubt.
New Orleans has three strong wins under their collective belts thus far, having won all three by 11 points or more against the Packers, Patriots and Football Team. They also have two brutal losses, a 26-7 drubbing at the hands of the Panthers and an overtime loss to the Giants. They’ll be entering this game without secret weapon Taysom Hill and top receiver Deonte Harris, though they’re getting reinforcements.
Seattle, meanwhile, has been pretty game but is still just 2-4, and are now without their most vital player. The hope for Seahawks fans and Falcons fans alike is that they can dig deep and they face off against the version of this Saints team that showed up against Carolina and the Giants.
Go Seahawks.
