Beating up on the Jets in London will do that for you.

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged-in Atlanta Falcons fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, 3 out of 4 Falcons fans are feeling confident in the team, even as they sit at just 2-3 on the year. It seems almost appropriate that the trend line looks like the shrug emoji when referring to this Falcons season.

This wasn’t always the case. After the loss to the Eagles in Week 1, confidence plummeted to just 36%. The loss to the Buccaneers actually improved sentiment to 54% and the win over the Jets in London lifted it from 41 to 69% and the bye week has boosted that even more. Having a struggling Miami Dolphins team ahead of you certainly can’t hurt.

In fact, a quick peek at the next several games shows a schedule loaded with opportunity if this Atlanta Falcons team can build on the positive trends we’ve seen lately. Getting back some key players — Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage especially — is probably also boosting confidence, on top of seeing Kyle Pitts finally have a breakout performance.

It’s not just Falcons fans, either. It looks like most NFL fans think the Falcons should be able to beat the Dolphins on their home field.

While the Falcons are enjoying the renewed confidence of its fans, the NFL’s recent crackdown on taunting is not going over well. At all. It looks like 4 out of 5 fans believe the rule is not being applied fairly, and I’d imagine that many of those people believe it should be applied far less, if at all.
