It has been a busy week and we have not even discussed what is going on with Tua. According to some, he could be traded before the Falcons kickoff on Sunday. According to others, that will not happen. According to even less reliable sources not linked here, there are three-way trades in the works.

We won’t know for sure, but Jacoby Brissett would be most likely to start if Tua Tagovailoa is traded.

Falcons need more from these positions

Dave Choate looked at the team’s problems, which we say offers lots of room for improvement. If the Falcons spent the bye week trying to juice up these spots, Atlanta could look much more complete against Miami. This starts off with the pass rush, the team’s biggest problem year in and year out since Jon Abraham was cut.

Dante Fowler missed practice

Speaking of pass rush, Atlanta has only two defensive lineman with more than 1 sack. One of them is Dante Fowler. He missed Wednesday’s practice with a knee injury. This could be a problem.

Matching up Miami’s O vs. Atlanta’s D

This is the match-up you are almost certain to not see highlighted anywhere. Miami’s offense has been a mess. Atlanta’s defense has been a mess. This is a bit of a race to the bottom but someone has to win this one, right?
