The Falcons are back from London with a rare W. We still aren’t sure exactly what to expect from this team, but we did see a few rookies like Richie Grant play... and look pretty good doing it. More importantly, we finally saw Kyle Pitts do what we expected of Kyle Pitts. After losing Julio Jones in the offseason, and the new starting duo of Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage, Pitts put the team on his back against the Jets.
Can that continue? We look towards the Falcoholinks for all the coverage and analysis of Sunday’s game.
Tallyho! More on the emergence of Kyle Pitts
Our post-game recap focuses on Atlanta’s top draft pick and what it may mean for the future. Matt Ryan may be settling into Arthur Smith’s offense as the quarterback has been on an amazingly efficient streak.
Rapid reactions from the podcast
Join David Walker and Evan Birchfield in their celebratory, post-game podcast. Of course, there will be plenty of talk about Pitts.
Put some respect on Chris Lindstrom’s name
In this week’s 3 up, 3 down, Will McFadden has an overlooked blocker up this week. Lindstrom has been killing it in his junior season, leading McFadden to ask if Lindstrom is the best, young offensive lineman in Atlanta since Jake Matthews.
Vote on offensive and defensive players of the game
There are plenty of options on offense this week, but more interesting may be the defensive options. The Falcons are getting some impressive play from multiple young defensive players.
Kyle Pitts had his real-life and fantasy breakout
If you drafted Pitts in fantasy football, you had a rough start to the year. This week, though, he ended up on our stud list.
