The Falcoholic staff picks: Wild Card Weekend

The Falcoholic staff makes their game predictions for Wild Card Weekend.

It’s over for the Atlanta Falcons. The team finished 4-12 after an 0-5 start which led to the firing of both head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff. The Falcons will look to the future as they currently search for new leadership, with official hires potentially occurring in the next month. We’ve picked NFL games, including the Falcons, throughout the year and now we turn our sights to the playoffs.

The Falcoholic staff have made their picks via Tallysight, where all of our picks and predictions will be shared throughout the season. It’s a great platform for not only making predictions, but also seeing how you stack up against professional sports writers and analysts.

Here’s our Wild Card Weekend staff picks:

This year’s Wild Card Weekend will be slightly different than years past. The NFL has expanded their playoff format to include an extra team from each conference which strips away a first-round bye for the team in each conference that finishes as the No. 2 seed. Overall, that means two extra games, so three playoff games on Saturday and three playoff games on Sunday. It’s going to be an exciting weekend of football.
