With their 4-12 finish, the Atlanta Falcons have now secured - at worst - a top 4 pick in the 2021 NFL draft. Fittingly, it happened at the hands of Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a blowout game to finish this nightmare season.
I’m joined by Evan Birchfield to recap the game on the podcast as we finish off the 2020 NFL season and begin looking toward the future of the franchise. Topics discussed:
- Matt Ryan’s good day and the incredibly frustrating Atlanta tendency to not have the offense and defense perform well in the same game
- Russell Gage and his big game
- The emergence of Calvin Ridley this season and why his Pro Bowl snub is notable
- How Grady Jarrett is the heart of this defense and why his absence was felt
- So much more
