NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The first game of the 2020 NFL season is upon us and the Falcons will face a relatively familiar opponent on Sunday: the Seattle Seahawks. This semi-rivalry has been an interesting one since Russell Wilson joined the team, as the series is currently split 3-3. The Seahawks hold a 3-1 regular season advantage while the Falcons have a 2-0 advantage in post-season games.

To discuss this excellent match-up, I spoke with Brandan Schulze of SB Nation’s Field Gulls to get a feel for what the Seahawks team looks like in 2020. Included in our discussion:

  • Why the Seahawks pass rush may be nearly as bad as Atlanta’s
  • The state of their offensive line and why it should be improved in 2020
  • Why Grady Jarrett may ultimately tear apart the interior of the Seahawks offensive line
  • Why Will Dissly and Greg Olsen could be a formidable 1-2 tight end punch
  • While not the Legion of Boom, reasons the Seattle secondary could be one of the better units in the league
  • So much more
