Falcons announce final 53-man roster

Don’t worry: Matt Ryan and Julio Jones made the cut.

With a 4PM deadline looming to trim their roster down to the final 53, the Atlanta Falcons got their moves in and have put together the “final” 53 ... for now. It’s important to note that the idea of a “final” 53 is somewhat moot, since teams constantly adjust and revise their rosters after the initial deadline.

That said, this is what the roster looks like for now and in the era of COVID-19, teams may be more cautious about revamping their roster every week.
