What’s your favorite Falcons - Packers memory ever?

As is typical, we’ve got one in mind.

Time, however briefly, to turn to something positive and Falcons-related. We haven’t had too many opportunities to do that of late.

This week, as has become our custom in this young 2020 season, we’re asking about your favorite memory from a game featuring this week’s matchup. This time out, it’s the Green Bay Packers, and the choices are actually pretty varied here.

For my money, you really can’t go wrong with this team blowing by the Packers in early 2017 en route to the Super Bowl. That was one of the most fun games in the Matt Ryan era, as #2 threw for 392 yards and 4 touchdowns, Julio Jones reeled in 9 catches for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Atlanta beat Green Bay 44-21. They led 24-0 at halftime and never looked back,

That game avenged the jaw-grinding sadness I felt when the 13-3 Falcons lost to them in 2010, and it put the team into just their second Super Bowl ever. Anyways, moving on.

If you’ve been around a while, your #2 (or perhaps even your #1 here) might be the team’s 27-7 victory over the Packers in 2003, the first time Green Bay had ever lost at Lambeau Field. That game featured Michael Vick throwing for just 117 yards but running for 64 as the Falcons put up almost 200 yards on the ground, and the defense picked off Brett Favre twice and generally smothered the Green Bay offense. That was a great game.

Let’s hear your best memories in the comments, especially if they’re somehow not from one of those two games.
