Happy Wednesday, Falcoholics! The Falcons have 4 days to get ready for their Week 3 game against the 2-0 Bears. If you think you are frustrated with the state of this team now, just wait until they get embarrassed for a third consecutive week.

The Falcons still have 14 more games to play this season. 14! Math was never my strong suit, but that means they haven’t been eliminated yet. Huzzah! Seriously though, if by some miraculous set of circumstances the Falcons not only make the playoffs but execute a deep playoff run, it wouldn’t be unprecedented. Our writers did a roundtable where the focus was on a scenario where you find yourself believing in this team again. What does that look like? What would the team have to accomplish between now and then?

Because they love to act on bad ideas, the Falcons are going to play host to a limited number of fans at games beginning October 11th. Lovely.

Evan Birchfield’s weekly stats post dropped yesterday. (Spoiler alert: Falcons receivers like setting records.) It doesn’t feel great to be 0-2, but there’s no denying the fact that the players on this team have accomplished some amazing things.

The Falcons announced Tuesday the 4 practice squad players they are protecting this week. There are a couple of names that keep getting called, and that has to mean something about their respective value, right? And speaking of the practice squad, 3 players were released from it yesterday.

Go forth, Falcoholics. Crush the day.
