After an eventful first quarter by the former Yale defender, Foye Oluokun has been ruled out for the remainder of the matchup against the Dallas Cowboys due to a hamstring injury.
This is a significant loss for a Falcons defense that has had real trouble in the second half.
Important injury news for Atlanta: Both LB Foye Oluokun (hamstring) and S Ricardo Allen (elbow) have been ruled out for the rest of the game.

Oluokun exits the game after a very productive first half with six tackles and a couple of forced fumbles that led to early points for the Falcons. With Oluokun ruled out, that means rookie linebacker Mykel Walker will see plenty of playing time alongside veteran Deion Jones at linebacker.
Oluokun was just one of a number of injuries on the day for the Falcons, specifically on the defensive side with safety Ricardo Allen also being ruled out and defensive end Takkarist McKinley suffering an early first quarter injury also. Hopefully the Falcons can hold on and get these guys back for Week 3.
