Falcons - Cowboys key info and tracker for Week 2

NFL: NOV 18 Cowboys at Falcons

It’s shortly before kickoff, so as usual it’s time to dispense with the preamble and ready ourselves body and mind for the Falcons game. Today Atlanta’s in Texas to face the Dallas Cowboys, the once and perhaps future America’s Team (TM) that has ceased to be more than an occasional playoff contender in recent years. In 2020, they’re hoping to set aside a poor first game and make the kind of run their talent level suggests they can, while the Falcons are hoping to dispel doubts about their improvement and embark on their own quest for contention, one that doesn’t involve going 7-9 for the third straight year.

Use this as your open thread for the game, and go Falcons!

Atlanta Falcons @ Dallas Cowboys, Week 2

When: Sunday, September 20, 1:00 p.m. EST

Where: The Jerry Jones Passion Project, Arlington, Texas

Channel: FOX

Announcers: Kevin Burkhardt, Daryl Johnston, Pam Oliver

Key Questions: Can the secondary actually figure this thing out and hold the Cowboys under 30 points, keeping the game within reach? Will the Falcons find a way to be more efficient and effective on offense early in the game, instead of having to furiously rally? Does the dynamic Younghoe Koo and Foye Oluokun onside kick recovery machine have another successful attempt in them?

Prediction: Falcons win, 30-28
