If you aren’t feeling good about the Atlanta Falcons, no one can blame you. A trashing at home at the hand of the Seattle Seahawks did little to quell desires for a coaching staff overhaul, but Evan and I found a few bright spots in the midst of the disaster.
In our latest postgame podcast - and the first for 2020 - we discuss the loss to Seattle and why it’s still to early to predict an entire season based on what we saw. Some of what was discussed:
- Why Matt Ryan’s record breaking performance still felt like it was not that impressive
- Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage combining for 3 100 yard games and giving us hope that this offense can be good in 2020
- The dominance of Grady Jarrett and why Takk McKinley could be a game changer in 2020
- The lack of depth at LB behind Deion Jones and why it’s concerning
- Much more
