Happy Wednesday, Falcoholics! It’s an overcast day in the neighborhood, and I’m not sure if I want you to be my neighbor. I’ll think about it.
Also, just a heads up, our links will start to smell unless you refrigerate them.
Foye Oluokun
Kevin Knight’s player profiles have been a can’t-miss lately. Next up in that series was linebacker Foye Oluokun. Foye hopes to grow his role in 2020, and he’s certainly talented enough to do it. The defense took several big steps forward during the second half of the 2019 season, but they’ll need all the help they can get in 2020 to sustain that success. Foye is a player that can help them turn that corner. If he can elevate his play in 2020, he will help the Falcons win football games.
Falcons over/under: offensive rank
The Falcons offense will be the difference between an average team and an elite team in 2020. That’s why we need the offense clicking on all cylinders, demolishing every defense that dares step in its path. Assuming a baseline ranking of 6th overall, would you take the over or under?
Additions in the scouting department
The Falcons recently made a couple of additions to their scouting department. Both join the Falcons from the college ranks and bring unique skillsets to the organization. Give the Falcoholic’s piece introducing them a read, if you have a moment.
Kynan Forney interview
Falcons alum Kynan Forney helped anchor the right side of Atlanta’s offensive line for 7 seasons. He was part of a number of exciting teams and if you’ve been following the Falcons since the early 2000s, you likely have fond memories of Forney. Evan Birchfield had the opportunity to interview Forney recently, and trust me, you don’t want to miss it. Go read Evan’s piece. Now.
