Falcoholinks: All the Falcons news you need for Tuesday, June 9

Fact: Matt Ryan makes delicious omelettes

Happy Tuesday, Falcoholics! It’s a brand new day. Here at the Falcoholic, we care about your oral hygiene. And we can assure you that our links are just as good for your teeth as regular flossing. Actually, on second though, no we can’t. That was a lie.

The NFC South is a whole new world, thanks in large part to some reshuffling of the quarterback landscape. We took a look at the various QB depth charts and came to the only logical conclusion: Matthew Thomas Ryan is the best dang QB in the NFC South and we’re willing to fight anyone who disagrees.

If you’ve been a Falcons fan for decades or are just particularly well-versed in the history of the franchise, then you’re probably familiar with John “The Zooker” Zook. He sadly passed away last weekend.

Grady Jarrett is probably the best 4th round draft pick in the history of the NFL. He’s already taken the league by storm and is finally getting the some of the well-earned recognition he deserves. There’s also a good chance he finishes out the 2020 season in the Top 10 of Falcons sack leaders.

In a sign of things to come, assistant coaches returned to Flowery Branch yesterday. There’s chatter about players following suit sometime later this month, and this move certainly signals that possibility.

Go forth, Falcoholics. Seize the day.
