Happy Tuesday, Falcoholics! How’s the week treating you? We have a large variety of links for your sampling. They each pair nicely with oyster crackers and a lukewarm Chianti.

The NFL acknowledged the possibility that they would be forced to push back the Super Bowl and cancel the Pro Bowl entirely if the season is delayed. This shows that the league has worked up every possible scenario that lets them move forward with a 2020 season. And frankly, I don’t think you’ll find a substantial group of fans that would mind making these concessions in lieu of a lost season. These are uncharted times, folks, but where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Do you remember Percy Harvin? Well, he’s contemplating a return to football, and Peter King thinks the Falcons will make the short list. Harvin is somehow only 32 years old so it’s possible there’s still tread on his tires. That said, between the vets on the roster and the UDFAs the Falcons just signed, Harvin would appear to be an addition the Falcons don’t need.

The Falcoholic himself took a bird’s eye view of the 2020 NFL Draft. It’s hard to know what this draft class will accomplish. We’ll have to wait another 2-3 years before we can honestly assess the quality of their contributions. But most pundits think the Falcons did what they needed to; that they didn’t completely screw this up. Good for them.

Our UDFA tracker pinpointed 19 of the 20 UDFAs the Falcons signed after the draft but The Mothership published a comprehensive list of UDFAs. Because a substantial percentage of every NFL team is made up of former UDFAs, that list is definitely worth a glance or two. So go glance at it. Immediately. Go. Glance!

Forget about the shiny new draft class, the signing of UDFA tight end Jared Pinkney instantly makes this a better football team. Pinkney undoubtedly fell out of favor with some scouts but his skill set, particularly as a blocker, is going to help this team win football games.
