Welcome to Tuesday, Falcoholics! This isn’t just any Tuesday. This is a special Tuesday. This is the Tuesday before the NFL Draft. Yes, in a little over 48 hours, NFL teams are going to attempt a fully digital draft for the first time in professional sports history. What could go wrong?

Proper digestion of our links is essential to your overall gut health. We don’t recommend swimming for at least half an hour after a meal including our links.

You want mock drafts? You think you’re entitled to mock drafts?! You can’t handle the mock drafts!! No, seriously, you should check out our roundtable mock draft. Speaking of the draft, there’s a healthy contingent of talking heads, fans, and Twitter personalities that think the Falcons will take a corner back in the first round of the draft. But what about the talent already on the roster? For example, head coach Dan Quinn apparently has a lot of faith in Kendall Sheffield.

Kevin Knight took one more look at the state of the safety position in Atlanta prior to the draft. You’d be hard pressed to find a Falcons fan that doesn’t like Keanu Neal and Ricardo Allen, but those guys can’t man the back half of the Falcons secondary forever. And it’s fair to question if Neal will be able to jump back in and re-gain his enforcer status in 2020. On the other hand, Allen is less of a concern given the emergence of Damontae Kazee.

There’s a recent rumor that the Falcons are considering a move into the top five picks of the first round. If that turns out to be true, well, then I guess we’ll know for sure that the Falcons are going all in in 2020. Could the Falcons be interested in taking Jalen Hurts in the second round? That’d be an interesting turn of events, but it’s another rumor that’s hanging out there at the moment.

Everett Glaze’s scouting report on Texas Christian corner back Jeff Gladney is something you should read, if you haven’t already. In a world where being a Pro Bowl alternate doesn’t mean much, Kenjon Barner is out in Atlanta and ... Brandon Powell is in? OK, Dan, if you say so.

Last but not least, answer this question: Under what circumstances would you be OK with the Falcons drafting a wide receiver in the early rounds?r f Here’s why this is something worth thinking about.
