A focus on the 2020 NFL Draft is the theme in Thursday’s edition of Falcoholinks. Dive on in.
Gurley and Koetter’s offense
Dirk Koetter has a pretty strong track record of putting together lackluster run games, and in Todd Gurley he has a new tool to work with to get the Falcons’ ground attack on track.
Falcoholic EIC Dave Choate took a closer look at Gurley’s fit in Koetter’s offense, and if we have any reason to think that the running game will improve in 2020. Here’s a hint: Runs up the middle!
Chattin’ Draft
The 2020 NFL Draft will go on as planned at the end of this month, and after over a month without anything sports-related going on, we’re even more excited than normal. ESPN’s Todd McShay’s latest mock draft will please many Falcons fans — and would be an impressive haul in the first two rounds.
The Falcons were able to fill a few holes via free agency, but there are still some glaring areas that have to be addressed in the draft.
