Welcome to Tuesday, Falcoholics. It’s not Monday, which is a plus. But it’s certainly not Friday, either. What can I tell you? You win some, you lose some.
Did you know that our links are handpicked and gently washed in lukewarm, unfiltered water we got from the rusty spiget in Dave’s back yard.
It’s been weeks with no sports, and if you’re like me, then you’re already losing your dang mind. The landscape ahead is difficult to make out, but there’s a decent possibility that the preseason is shortened and at least some NFL games are played without fans this fall. That would be less than ideal, but at this point it’s better than nothing, assuming it doesn’t put the lives or long-term lung capacity of any players on the team at risk.
The NFL draft is just around the corner, which means now is not a good time to stop evaluating prospects. Lucky for you, our draft coverage is next level. Check out Everett Glaze’s scouting report on defensive back Jeremy Chinn.
You may have mixed emotions whenever Hayden Hurst’s name gets dropped, but he’s looking forward to playing for the Falcons. He’s already been in touch with Dirk Koetter and he’s already envisioning a role for himself.
We’ve been waiting patiently for some uniform-related news to break. We will have to keep waiting but Evan Birchfield brought us a couple of juicy tidbits worth knowing about.
