It’s trivia time! We’re wrapping this one up because free agency will open soon and we’ll have actual signings and cuts to discuss, but we may roll it back out in the summer. Look for one more on Thursday.
Today’s question is a deceptively simple one: Who is the franchise’s all-time leader for yards per carry? I am, of course, going to introduce some slight wrinkles by specifying that it is not any of the men who have 20-plus yards on 1-2 carries, because that doesn’t count for much.
Instead, we’re talking about the all-time leader for players with 10 or more carries, which is itself a pretty low cutoff point. The player here was so good in very limited carries that his yards per carry average is actually higher than his yards per game average, the kind of dumb and ridiculous stat only the Falcons can provide you with.
The man in question was severely underutilized during his time in Atlanta, which will probably help more than a few of you guess this one. Go nuts.
