This has the potential to be one of the most enjoyable Super Bowls in a little while. Patriots-Rams was a dud, Patriots-Eagles was exciting but didn’t exactly feature two teams you could easily root for, and let’s just skip right by Falcons-Patriots entirely.
The 49ers and Chiefs are two of the best teams in the league, full stop, and two of the most exciting and dynamic offenses. While a slog is certainly possible, my expectation is a lively, high-scoring game featuring two teams that aren’t there all that often. I’ll be rooting for the Chiefs, of course, but my second priority is a good game.
