The NFL schedule is getting a bit weird here toward the end, the product of some COVID-related shuffling. That’s why we have not one but two games on Monday night this week, plus one on Tuesday night approaching.
Tonight, we start things off right around...well, now...with the Washington Football Team against the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers. I don’t have much hope that Washington can knock off Pittsburgh in this one, even though undefeated teams losing is always a good time, but they’ve at least been game in recent weeks. We’ll hope for a close one, at the very least, because at this point I’m watching non-Falcons games for good football and little else.
After that, it’ll be Buffalo Bills versus San Francisco 49ers, a game the Bills should probably win handily. The 49ers do have surprising wins over the Rams and Patriots in the last month-plus despite a raft of injuries, however, so hopefully they too can make things interesting.
Use this as your open thread for both games and enjoy!
