Happy Wednesday, Falcoholics! The Falcons’ 2020 season will wrap in just 4 days. If the Falcons get their butts handed to them by Tom Brady and company, they could pick as high as third in the 2021 NFL Draft. That’s not the outcome any of us expected back in September, but that’s where we are. Oh well.
Our links come served with a variety of dipping sauces, including ranch, honey mustard, and spicy ketchup.
The Falcons will need to make a lot of new hires to fill out their front office and coaching staff over the next couple of months. Matt Chambers broke down some of the names the Falcons have been linked to so far.
Evan Birchfield’s dropped his weekly stats piece and Carter Breazeale handed out some hat tips as well as some head scratchers. Meanwhile, Dave Choate posed an interesting question. Specifically, he asked whether the Falcons’ impressive performance against the Chiefs makes you feel better or worse about the 2020 season.
Kevin Knight took a closer look at the abject train wreck that is the Dirk Koetter’s offense. And Eric Robinson has some takeaways from Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs that you ought to consider.
Don’t forget to take a look at Dave’s breakdown of the snap counts. Last but certainly not least, if you were under the impression that the Falcons might cap off a lackluster 2020 with a win because the Buccaneers may want to rest their starters, then think again. Bruce Arians does not plan to rest his starters on Sunday.
That’s all for today, Falcoholics. Keep on keepin’ on.
