Falcoholinks: All the Falcons news you need for Tuesday, Dec. 29

Fact: A.J. Terrell has never eaten bruschetta

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Kansas City Chiefs Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Tuesday, Falcoholics! The end is in sight. One week from today, the Falcons will be 48 hours into their off-season, looking to right the ship and get back to being a competitive football team. Huzzah!

We deep fry our links before sprinkling them with powdered sugar. They’re deeeelicious.

Adnan Ikic brought us this week’s “fantasy stud and dud.” If you can’t guess the fantasy stud, then you probably didn’t watch Sunday’s game. In any case, Adnan’s piece is definitely worth a read. So go read it. Immediately.

I brought you this week’s “3 up, 3 down.” Truth be told, at least from my vantage point, there were more than 3 players deserving of inclusion in the “Up” category. The Falcons battled on Sunday, and you should be proud of how they played.

The Falcons signed Greg Dortch to their practice squad. He’s an intriguing prospect and this gives him some time to impress any holdovers on the coaching staff, assuming there are any at all.

Calvin Ridley has quietly turned in one of the best seasons in Falcons WR history. Even if Julio Jones struggles to stay healthy going forward, the Falcons have their WR1.

If you’re still trying to wrap your mind around the outcome of yesterday’s game, then look no further than Dave Choate’s recap. It’s full of cat references, brown liquor-induced diatribes, and profanity. You’ll love it.

Go, Falcoholics. Seize the day.
