We’re coming up on the Atlanta Falcons second remaining game in 2020, as the team prepares to travel to face the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. The team has been dealing with several injuries, and this week wide receiver Brandon Powell randomly popped up on the practice report with a foot injury.
On Saturday, the Falcons announced that they’ve flexed wide receiver Chris Rowland and offensive lineman Sean Harlow to the active roster.

Rowland was one of the few undrafted free agents to remain with the Falcons up to this point. At Tennessee State, Rowland was an All-Conference selection at both wide receiver and return specialist in 2019 and was the only player in the NCAA to record a TD on a run, reception, punt return and kickoff return. Although he’s 5’8, 170—he’s fast, agile, and has exceptional vision as a ball carrier. It will be exciting to see what he can do for the Falcons return game, which hasn’t been that stellar in 2020.
Harlow is someone that most Falcons fans will be familiar with. Harlow has been protected on the Falcons’ practice squad as the team deals with offensive line injuries, most notably to left guard James Carpenter. Harlow was a fourth round selection for the Falcons back in the 2017 draft, and has since spent most of the past four seasons with the Falcons in one capacity or another. We won’t see him Sunday unless things go awry.
