It’s Christmas Day, and I hope it has been a great one for you and yours. Hopefully, Falcons fans the world over will be further cheered by a Vikings victory over the Saints today.
Shortly, Minnesota will kick off a game against the suddenly hapless Saints, who are riding a two game losing streak against the Eagles and Chiefs. To hear New Orleans fans tell it, the only reason they lost to the Chiefs is because of all those injuries and a referee blunder, but to hear Saints fans tell it, no game has ever been lost in any other way. That also doesn’t explain the stunning loss to Philadelphia, and it suddenly looks like injuries, the pressure of trying to play for homefield, and an incredibly decrepit Drew Brees are indeed limiting New Orleans. Let’s hope the good times continue for them against a Vikings team that has at least been more competitive in recent weeks. Minnesota does, after all, know a thing or two about beating the Saints.
This is your open thread for the game. Have a great one, everyone!
