It’s a new week as the 4-10 Atlanta Falcons prepare to travel in their last two games of the regular season. After falling in their home finale to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past weekend, the team will go on the road to face the Kansas City Chiefs before a season finale road game against the Buccaneers. The Falcons were without some key starters last week, such as Julio Jones and Ricardo Allen, and we’ll keep an eye on their availability for this Sunday’s game.

The team released its official practice report for Wednesday, giving us insight into where certain players stand health-wise.

FULL PARTICIPATION

  • CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson (illness)
  • TE Jaeden Graham (neck)
  • DE Jacob Tuioti-Mariner (elbow)

LIMITED PARTICIPATION

  • S Keanu Neal (hamstring)
  • S Ricardo Allen (concussion)
  • LB Deion Jones (toe)
  • DE Steven Means (hand)
  • DT Marlon Davidson (knee)

NO PARTICIPATION

  • WR Julio Jones (hamstring)
  • CB Darqueze Dennard (quad)
  • C Alex Mack (concussion)
  • G James Carpenter (groin)

It’s only Wednesday, but we now have a better outlook on where certain players stand to begin the week. On the bright side, Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Jaeden Graham, who sustained injuries last Sunday which caused them both to leave the game, were both listed as full practice participants on Wednesday. We do have some gloomy news, as Alex Mack appears to have sustained a concussion in the loss, which is an injury that there’s no set timeline for. If he’s unable to go, we may possibly see rookie Matt Hennessy take snaps at the position he was drafted for.

Julio Jones remains sidelined with his lingering hamstring injury that has allowed him to play in only nine games this season. Also, James Carpenter appears to have re-injured his groin, which recently caused him to miss several games.
