Falcoholinks: All the Falcons news you need for Wednesday, Dec. 23

Fact: Raheem Morris grows his own carrots and snap peas

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Wednesday, Falcoholics! How are you celebrating the holidays? Brown liquor? Assorted meats? Don’t worry about the Falcons, they’ll right their ship. We think. Maybe. Probably not. Whatever.

Our links pair nicely with a bacon jam and fried onions. Yum!

Dave Choate broke down what we know about the Falcons’ search for Thomas Dimitroff’s replacement at this point. One thing is certain: Dimitroff won’t be the GM in 2021. That alone is reason to celebrate.

We’re just about ready to move on from the loss to the Buccaneers, but not before we break down the snap counts. And speaking of the Week 15 game, Carter Breazeale handed out some hat tips and a handful of head scratchers and Eric Robinson has some takeaways you ought to consider.

The Falcons are saying that they will at least give Raheem Morris an interview as they look to fill their head coach vacancy. They aren’t likely to give Morris any real consideration, but declining to give him an interview would be bad form.

We weren’t sure about his long term (and long range) viability before the season, but one fact is clear now: Younghoe Koo is arguably the NFL’s best kicker. You the man, Younghoe.

The Jordan Miller experiment in Atlanta may have come to an unremarkable end. We hoped Miller could find a niche in the Falcons secondary, but it appears that he fell out of favor with the coaching staff. Oh well.

You do you, Falcoholics.
