The reasons to watch the Bengals play the Steelers are pretty slim. Pittsburgh should kick the everloving crap out of Cincinnati, given the gulf in talent and results between these two teams, and the Bengals simply aren’t a ton of fun to watch with Joe Burrow on the shelf.
The biggest reason to watch this is the remote possibility that the Bengals upset the Steelers, which suddenly puts the Falcons within striking distance of the #3 pick Cincinnati currently holds. They’d be 3-10-1 with two games to go, while the Falcons and Panthers are 4-10. Atlanta’s final two games are also, charitably, difficult.
So watch because the season is winding down and Monday Night Football is nearly over, and watch just in case there’s even more draft intrigue to come for the Atlanta Falcons. That’s about as compelling as it gets with everything having gone wrong for Atlanta, to put it mildly.
