Falcons vs. Buccaneers post-game injury report: Falcons secondary decimated in loss

Fact: Isaiah Oliver’s fries dip themselves in ketchup

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Well, Falcons fans, it happened. The Falcons didn’t give up a 25 point lead this time and this wasn’t the Super Bowl. But Tom Brady and his avocado ice cream have embarrassed us again. These are the days of our lives.

There were some injuries today. Let’s break them down, because it’s better than drinking any more brown liquor.

Matt Ryan looked like he suffered a rib injury during the first half. Ryan gutted it out, not missing a single snap and putting up a line that should silence his critics until he throws a single errant pass, after which all bets will be off and Falcons Twitter can go back to hating him again.

James Carpenter re-injured his groin, which to be frank, isn’t all that surprising. Carpenter hadn’t placed since Week 12, and it’s fair to wonder whether he will be good to go again before the season ends.

Blidi Wreh-Wilson succumbed to some sort of an illness during the middle of the game today, and the Falcons hit him with a questionable designation.

Isaiah Oliver had some cramping during the back end of the game and earned a questionable designation Oliver was replaced by Tyler Hall, who was tasked with defending Antonio Brown, which ... didn’t take end well.
