At this point, it’s almost clockwork to predict a Falcons blown lead in the second half. The fact that this one came against Tom Brady shouldn’t be a surprise, but it adds to the pain nonetheless.

Our postgame podcast recaps this loss with Evan Birchfield and me doing our best to recap the details of the frustrating loss as Atlanta barrels towards a top-10 pick in the 2021 NFL draft.

Topics include:

  • Why this game can’t be put on Matt Ryan’s shoulders, unlike last week
  • The emergence of Calvin Ridley and Atlanta’s incredible luck in finding a WR1 since Roddy White
  • The lackluster running game under Todd Gurley and Brian Hill
  • Why Ito Smith deserves to be the starter to finish the season
  • The defense and their improved play, but why allowing 21 points in one quarter is just too much
  • So much more
