How to watch Falcons vs. Buccaneers in Week 15

If you’re up for watching what might be a tough game, here’s how and when you can do it.

If you’re like me, you’re going into a full defensive crouch for the final three games of the season. On paper, two games against the Buccaneers and one against the Chiefs is one of the toughest stretches of the year, and two of those games are going to be on the road. Taking previously modest expectations and turning the dial to zero is probably smart for all of us, given the additional stress the holidays are already placing on us.

That said, the games aren’t going away, try as we might to lessen their impacts on our weeks. Sunday’s tilt against the Buccaneers is the final home game of the season for the Falcons, and thus is the game they’re likeliest to be competitive in. Here’s how you can watch with your freshly tempered expectations.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Week 15

When: Sunday, December 20, 1 p.m. EST

Where: Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia

Channel: FOX

Announcers: Kevin Burkhardt, Daryl Johnston, Pam Oliver

Streaming: FOXSportsGo

Radio: 92.9 The Game

Key Questions: Can the Falcons pull off an upset at home against a good but not invincible Buccaneers team, or at least make this one interesting enough that it’s not a slog to watch? Will the pass rush get home in a way it didn’t last week against the Chargers? Can the Falcons secondary hold a potent Buccaneers passing attack in check? Will the passing game get going for the first time in weeks?

Prediction: The Falcons are probably going to lose this one, and I struggle to see how the can keep it particularly close with the way they’ve been playing recently on offense in particular. I’ll say Buccaneers 27, Falcons 20, because it’s a divisional game and crazy things sometimes happen.
